i want to get a proper speakerphone type thing for my HA setup. i have a laptop speaker and webcam mic which kinda works but not as well as my ancient alexa so i feel there's room for improvement.
i already own a rpi 3b+ and HA runs off an old gaming laptop (for HA, a massive amount of power) so it feels a little wasteful to buy the voice preview since i dont need the entire esp32 setup or microwakeword stuff, i JUST need the mic/speaker, but maybe its the best idk
like is there a general recommendation? i don't want to spend a billion dollars, esp cause i want to get 2 of them. is there some hardware that's common for this?
but fuck maybe i should just get the voice preview, idfk, $60 is a bit much
