#Curtains UX

We’re planning a major redesign of the cover more-info dialogs. That is also reflects different covers. One thing I want to find out is what the primary action should be.
From my own experience, I often drag it to a favorite positions.
This user just wants to open/close curtains, has no favorite positions.
Open and close are often used positions
yeah, with lights we have a toggle button next to the tabs
separate buttons on the same page could be an issue for tilt covers 😅
Yeah but that's why limited to curtain device class
We can just calculate if there are three or less buttons on second tab, show underneath
Our single ui that can handle all the things including tilt covers is how we got in the current situation with sub optimal ux
Can we consider a quick win involving community designer?
Good idea. If you have time now, can you create a UX activity task?

We can share this one with the community designers.
I can create the taks tomorrow.
For curtains, you don't tend to set position,
I do! But would be happy to have favorite positions like we have for light colors, since usually I just switch between a few positions (and rarelly open fully)
Just realized my blinds have these shortcuts
Wonder what is causing it showing up here
@weary imp added these recently with this PR
Oh but then we can close this thread. The problem is solved 🙂
Is there any issue/roadmap item where we can follow this eventually? I am highly interested in this as Overkiz/Somfy maintainer :). Especially for awnings, we have had many user reports here.
