#Override Zigbee2MQTT device exposed value to Mosquito broker

I have a smokedetector that expose the battery remaining value 0 till 100.
To test a notification when the battery is low, I'd like to override the 100 to for example 20.
Had a search online but couldn't find any method.
Thanks for your input

I already suggested that. Theuy're not even using HA for htis

No that was suggested but doesn't work, this is within HA. It seems Node-Red gets it's info straight from the MQTT broker

then dont use node red 😉

ha has all onboard

Why? I really like the simple interfacing.

Sorry noDNS I'm looking for a solution, not someone to convince me to move from Node-Red to HA

there's nothing wrong with Node-Red, it's just different and you're not going to get much support for it here because few people use it

I guess it's many possible within Z2M

you can probably change the state right in MQTT using MQTT Explorer

#

I don't know how you'd spoof the state in Z2M, but maybe there's some way...
