Just signed up for Nabu Casa its all working on my main admin account . wanted it to work with my wifes companion app IOS. Doesnt want to connect ive disabled local access only in the user settings any tips?

The service provides a secure URL to reach HA and has no relation to the HA accounts. Can you sign in with that user from any other browser or the mobile browser on that same device?

i just tried the link on my IOS browser with cell data. i was able to get the login page but i get the error unable to connect to Home Assistant

So it's not the connection. You reach the HA sign in page using the URL, right?
And then you try authenticating with that account and receive this message from HA
