Z2M light group question

Hi there,

I hope someone made a blueprint or some kind of automation to solve the following problem.

I turned on the dinner light's(3 light bulbs) tonight and notice that 2 light did not chance color insize Z2M there offline after i clicked interview they both come online and the problem is solved.

Is there a way to check inside light groups if all the lights bulbs are online and active ?

Depends what you want to do with the device. Here's an example from a binary sensor group which you can replace with your light group and it checks if the state is on or not and list them in a notification.

You should be able to use the Repeat for each in the automation UI as well.

Thank you for the response what i want to do is as follows:

I use adaptive lighting but 2 of the 3 light bulbs changed color and 1 did not until i saw it was offline and clicked interview . after that i turned it off/on and it was active with adaptive lighting.

Z2M does not expose which bulbs the group contains. As it does not know what the entity id of a light in HA is (as you can change it in HA without changing Z2M). So you would need to check the individual devices in HA (or make a HA group with the same bulbs) separate of Z2M.

Also note, Zigbee has no real support for offline. Z2M flags this as:

• Grid power device that does not response to a poll for 10 minutes
• battery powered device that didn't send any message for 25 hours

Times can be changes but these are the defaults once availability is enabled.

So when a light does not change color (adaptive lightning) it's just that for now?

What do you mean by "it's just that for now"?

What I'm saying is, availability needs a light that supports polling. And has a good connection.

And if you want to see that in HA with availability setup in Z2M you need to do it on a per-light basis, not the Z2M group.

i added all the light bulbs to the adaptive lighting individual (see screenshot)

The woonkamer light bulbs are in a lamp together as you can see "Woonkamer_2" is offline and does not have a color change from the adaptive lightning .
The connections everywhere is 255 lowest is 239 (Slaapkamer_2) the "Woonkamer_2" is at 245
