#WLED Not quite working

check power> enough amps? Limiter checked in wled? Check data line> are you using data booster? data cable too long? check connections in general. For HA> remove wled, restart and re-add wled. try again. Otherwise try WLED's discord: https://discord.gg/7WrhGEBD
I calculated everything right and with the WLED app it works fine.
Does ha communicate the same way as the WLED app does?
WLED Not quite working
as far as i know, both are using json api, but ha also sends info over udp realtime (faster changes etc.) that could overwhelm the wled controller. If in wled app all is working, there is no issue with led setup. You could check network (connect to 2.4ghz only) if all is running well and as last resort deinstall wled integration, reboot and re=add wled to ha. Make sure you are on the latest versions of wled and ha. Re-adding will create a new handshake with ha, chances are good that this will solve your issue.
one more thing that comes to my mind, what led hardware (controller) are you using? does it have a proper logic level shifter for the data output? If the logic shifter is not fast enough, wled app can handle, but ha with faster info sending could expose a (too) slow level shifter. But that would be more wled discord stuff to ask. I would try the above and re-check.
I made my own lvl shifter. The LEDs are controlled over an esp 32 and a SN74AHCT125N
that shifter is ok.
Do you know what FOSS stands for?
It's at the WLED Integration at the devices.
