Am I going mad? where has all the "history" of an entity in a list gone? (I can't remember what it was called specifically).
I **can **see the actual history page that gives a little coloured bar, so the data is there, but it also used to tell you all the individual changes as text , it was also visible in the entities themselves. I assume they can't have gotten rid of it completely and have just hidden it for some reason .

ah yes, thats the one. i couldnt think of the old term for it. where is the activity panel? should it be on the left side bar like logbook was?

Yes I think it's usually there.
Given you're missing the energy as well, seems like you might have lost a lot of panels for some reason.

hmm thats odd. well i've gotten the energy one back, is there anything in the config yaml which looks like it would address this? adding energy: to it brought that back, so hopefully it is the similar thing.
ah got it, default_config: was somehow missing , which explains everything.
