I have the ESPHome Home Assistant Voice from the official Home Assistant shop. I setup Piper and Whisper but I noticed it takes a very long time for it to respond to "What time is it" I'm using Home Assistant Green as well. Any advice? I selected Issac Medium

It is likely the STT section with whisper that is taking the time. You should try using Speech-To-Phrase instead if you are running it all on a green. It means you cant use wildcards in commands for but for specific commands it should be faster than whisper.
If you look on the voice assistants debug trace you will be able to see the amount of time each step takes in the pipeline.

Makes sense, I watched a YouTube video though and he used the same and his was shorter delay. Is there another method to add better speed? Even turning on and off lights is a bit long as well.
