I'm looking for a speaker I can plug into the wall, and send it audio clips as an action in response to certain triggers. Not a big audio speaker, just something I can use to draw my attention to certain events. Preloading sound files would be fine (but I'd want it to handle 10 or more), or providing them in real time.
Whatever it is, it most operate without the cloud.
