Just looked at the plant status card in the frontend. Noticed it has a the "plant" domain on it (first time ever seeing this).
Looked up what this was and it appears in limbo. Was a decision ever made on this?

it's like that since years now. Should we open an arch discussion about it's future? It is still used by a lot of people and since there hasn't been any development someone made a custom integration of it with even more installations. The need for something to monitor plants is there.

Yes, but in the current approach you can still monitor plants
As in, there's no need for it to be an entity

but then why not deprecate it? And then build something new? Like a plant helper similar to the mold indicator
