#Shelly 1 Gen 4 as Garage Door Opener w/ Contact Sensor

Hi i'm interested in purchasing this bundle for a garage door opener solution https://www.ozsmartthings.com.au/products/wifi-garage-door-opener

Just unsure about a few things

  1. Powering - Looking at my Merlin 230T i don't think i outputs any low voltage i assume ill need an external power brick for the shelly
    2 .Wiring - Is it possible to wire up the contact sensor to the shelly itself to detect open/close state?
  2. HA setup - The Shelly 1 Gen 4 seems to handle wifi , zigbee and zwave? I've never added a device in HA with an open/ close sensor just wondering what that would look like.
