Hello, i'm currently using HA on a raspberry pi, and i was wondering if the "delay" of recognition when the reolink camera trigger an event like car, person, animal, is due to the raspberry having not much processing power, or if it's due to poor network or the reolink nvr making time to realise the camera is filming something ?

Most likely a combination of these things. How much of a delay are you having?
wasn't able to measure it properly, but let's say you can pass in front of the camera, like 5 sec, and it wouldn't pop up, but let's say you get out of your car, goes around and grab something in the passenger seat, it will trigger
What camera are you using? is it hardwired or battery?
it's a reolink e1 , it's on wifi (fluent) and wall plugged for power
have you tried integrating directly to the camera instead of through the nvr to see if its any quicker?
I use frigate for detection so don't really know how quick the edge detection is supposed to be.
i think frigate is the thing i tried to use, as for passing by the nvr or not, i have no idea, i installed that quickly a few months ago, and only come back onto it at the moment ^^
frigate was supposed to be what i will use, but i'm checking right now
i think i am accessing the camera drectly
