Hi everyone, I'm a really new one here and encounter some problem for my first install.
I'm using a Raspberry pi 3, I know it's not recommended but I wanted to do some testing before purchasing something else.
So installation went right, plugged it on ethernet and got the message waiting for the CLI.
Then I couldn't reach it with any of my devices. Tried with my desktop my laptop, tablet, mobile nothing world the port is unreachable. I can ping the PI but cant acces it.
Forgot to say all my devices are wifi connected.
Then I found one old laptop that I wired connected to the rooter... And it worked like a charm.
So finally here is my question, is there a solution to make the port reachable on a wifi device ?

If you want to test I'd recommend a virtual machine. What does your network situation look like? The WiFi devices might ne in a different subnet or in a isolated network.
I have a deco mesh for the wifi. But even when I directly connected to the wifi from the rooter it didnt work neihter
Where is the pi connected to? What are the local ips of it, the old laptop and your own PC?
I'm at work right now but thx for the help.
I connected the pi directly to the rooter, wired. It is 192.168.1.14
Desktop is 192.168.1.18 if I remember
Check if you can see the deco connected devices in the router's DHCP table. It might act as its own router.
