For past couple months (since maybe 2026.1? not sure), the first time I boot the host after a power outage or intentional power down, it will not boot on first try. If I unplug the power and plug it back in, it works perfectly. I have found the logs to compare boot 1 vs boot 2... looks like a networking stack issue?
- Initial Boot: 4:26 PM This is attached as Boot 1.log (only 40 lines). I am unable to connect, I see some weirdness with kernel and nics.
- Second Boot: 4:52 PM This is attached as Boot 2.log (only 40 lines). After noticing hang, I unplug/plug power. This looks great and all is good.
Any ideas? This hasn't only happened once, this is the 5th or 6th time that I can recall. Each time I toggle the power to get it to boot up normally. Otherwise, I would not bother you guys 🙂 Thanks!
