Is there a way to define and set passcodes yet for adding the lock purely in HA? Currently I have to add it to Google Home, define a passcode, set timeouts, etc, and then add it to HA where it works with these codes.

matter door lock codes are still a work in progress. There is work being done on them, so hopefully it won't be too much longer before there's at least basic support for passcode management.
