#Corrupted Statistics Graph Data

I'm running into an issue with what appears to be corrupted cache data for the Statistics Graph card, which can be seen in comparison with the correct data in the History Graph.

Some of the relevant details for this:

  • It's happening to any set of data I display in the Statistics Graph, such as temperature and humidity from multiple sensors, or data from calculated helper sensors.
  • It started displaying fake data several days ahead into the future after the Home Assistant update to the latest version. It's currently Feb 18 and it's displaying incorrect data until Feb 23rd or 24th.
  • The fake or incorrect data is not being overwritten as time goes on.

Does anyone know how to reset whatever corrupted data the Statistics Graph card is using without deleting the recorded history of sensor data?

Thanks!

developer tools/statistics allows for wiping all statsitics of an entity, it won't affect the recorded history

How do I wipe them? I've searched in there before but couldn't find any way to wipe the data.

click the little button left of the search field

select a row, click delete

Oh, thank you. Now the statistics cards show "No statistics found." I assume they will recalculate at some point?

yeah I would assume so

Thank you. I'll wait a while and follow up if it doesn't rebuild the statistics data.
