#victron_ble integration abandoned/wrong owner set?

Hi all,
Just checking in to see if anyone is aware of the plans for the victron_ble integration going forward?
It was introduced in 2025.12 at Bronze status and several issues have been filed on GitHub indicating that it's falling behind the hacs forks a fair bit when it comes to supporting current devices and firmware versions.

What I feel is a bit odd is that all the issues since its introduction has gone unhandled/unanswered. There has been one recent change but not relating to these issues.
Not looking to put any blame on any individual here at all. It just feels a bit unusual this early in the lifecycle of the integration.
Is it possible that the wrong owner handle was set, causing these issues to go unnoticed?

Raj is generally very busy

Bronze doesn't indicate the issue, but more stability and how things are implemented

#

Who was the creator of the custom one?

Thanks Joost for the comment.

True, bronze has nothing to do with the issues. That was confusing of me to phrase it like that. 😅

The older issues mention a couple custom ones but I’ll check again and report back. They both seem to each have their unique flaws 😉

I hope we can engage more people to contribute to the official integration and help Raj get this awesome initiative flying strong.

Like, if you're able to connect to those people I'm happy to connect them up with Raj

I thought Cerbo GX on mqtt was the preferred way to talk to victron stuff anyway

I believe BLE is a different thing from GX

Yeah, the BLE framework of HA has amazing benefits for standardizing around integrating stuff that moves around.
Victron AC chargers for example. Wherever you have a BLE proxy for HA, you will pick up the data from these devices. I have proxies everywhere, house, garage, even in the car through 4G.

Cerbo is awesome for permanent and more complex installations.

Ah gotcha - sorry I've never used victron stuff in mobile applications (excluding a camper rebuild but that's not quite the same)

If the motivation is there, the rest will follow
