Hello,
I am trying to run home assistant or fully kiosk on an old android 5 tablet (ASUS ZenPad 8, base model) to use as dashboard control around the house, but i cannot install the app through google play store since the version is so outdated. The only way i can run it is through a browser, but it is not fullscreen and cannot have any configuration like always on display. I couldn't find anything on the internet and decided to reach out here. Any ideas?
Sorry if this is not the right channel, i am new here and still learning things.

Should i get the minimal release or the full release? And i'm pretty sure they dropped support in this version, but i'll look in the previous release. Thank you
I was the one actully droping the version but my memory is bad ^^.
Well if you have the play services on your device I encourage you to use the full version to get everything
like notification through FCM, localisation, ...
You can check the companion app docs it is written what is the differences between full and minimal.
