Hi everyone,

Finally got Matter and Thread up and running on my Dockerised Home Assistant yesterday, but noticed that every accessory I import across is being assigned to "Matter Test" in Apple Home's connected services section.

This is probably purely cosmetic, like how Apple's thread fabric is branded something like "MyHome49" behind the scenes, but I am wondering if this is something I can change with Home Assistant? I've paused merging the networks while I ponder and ask.

My install is set up in Portainer with home-assistant-libs/python-matter-server and ownbee/hass-otbr-docker, if there's any other helpful info needed, I'd be happy to provide.

I have had the HA connected service named 3 different things over the last couple years: initially came up as ‘4369’, next was ‘Nabu Casa’, just checked again and now it is labeled as ‘Home Assistant (Open Home Foundation)’. I did nothing in either Apple Home or HA directly to change the names.

My setup is Promox/HAOS VM/matterjs-server & zbt1/HAOS VM/otbr beta

Interesting that it changed over time for you. I get the feeling that it's tied to the vendor info,

It’s been a couple years, so it may have initially been the the Vendor ID of ‘4939’ and not 4369 for me.
