I am confused why when setting a "Name" under a device, it does not supercede whatever the Entity ID also includes... Like one of my devices in the Dashboard is named "My Door Garage Door"... I have no control over the entity ID when it auto sets itself up. So I renamed the device or added "Garage Door" and I am confused why when manually adding a name... it doesn't just use what I want it to show up as...but also includes entity ID or whatever in it?
To add some context, it is my understanding when using HA with Google Home Assistant etc., the voice assistant integration uses name... so it is just extremely challenging why I would need to speak entity Id and names when I just want to set my own Name for the device to execute a command "open Garage Door" but instead I need to say "Open My Door Garage Door"
