How has anyone been setting up their speaker groups for consistent music play, whether its Spotify or Plex.

I have several LLM (Echo Show 5's using Voice Assistant Companion App) and several Google mini's.

If I create a speaker group in Helpers with just LLM devices the playback is fairly close together, however if I add a Google mini, there is a delay in one or more speakers.

Any suggestions would be helpful. My over goal is to eliminate the Google devices but for now just want to make the most of what I have.

Sorry don't know how to help you, but how did you get your echo show 5 to play music with MA?

I have a jailbroken echo show 5 running lineage os, VACA works fine on the device. I want to play MA music through the ES5 but when I hit play through MA app on HA no sound comes out even though it shows in the app that music is playing on the ES5. When I play MA music through my Sonos speaker it works fine so it seems MA and my VACA are set up fine but no sound is coming out of my ES5.

You have to add the Echo Show device into MA under providers - Home Assistant Media Players. Did you do that first?

When you have the LLM sort of speakers, from what I read HA creates a Media Player for things like notifications/alerts and then in MA when you add the speaker, it ceates a media player for music
