I have an ASUS Chromebox - I believe it's a gen 2 (based on pics - not at home right now to confirm). It's been sitting, gathering dust (quite literally) for a couple of years now.
It has an Intel Celeron 3215U CPU, 2GB RAM, and a 16GB NGFF M.2 SSD, as well as gigabit ethernet and 4USB-A 3.0 ports.
Would this be suitable for running HAOS (with USB 2.0 cables for attaching the ZB & ZW controllers, of course)? My HA is currently on Docker, and everyone keeps yelling at me to upgrade to HAOS. Plus, with my server having been down for 3 days, I really want it to be stand alone now... Yes, I'm sure there are many other/better options available for me to buy new today, but this is just sitting here doing nothing, and I figured this would probably be a good use for it.
Will I be sad & disappointed if I use this, or should I expect to get several more years of good service life out of it?
