I started with HA a few weeks ago so this is probably a beginner question: I would like to use the type: power-sources-graph card (picture1) for my SMA Tripower solar system but the graph doesn't show data. It says "there is no data to show. .." but at the same time other cards that in my opinion get the right inputs/sensors show data (picture2). I can't find any tutorials or obvious mistakes. Thanks for your help!

Your screenshot showing other devices are all energy (kWh). Power (kW) is how fast you use energy.
When you edit the energy dashboard and choose your devices, each device lets you select an energy entity and a power entity. Make sure you’ve assigned power entities to your devices.

thanks, I just figured something out: I am using "power flow card plus" for my energy flow diagram and it lets me choose all the right entities. I just compared that to what I have put inside HA Energy and it is not the same. But when I try to find the "right" entity for example "return to grid" the entity is not listed. I followed the instructions of what to do when that happens but I'm not fully understanding them and can't see whats wrong because state_class and device_class seem to be what it should be (screenshot).
so I wonder why this entity is not listed and cannot be selected in the energy dashbard.

Stop confusing energy and power 🙂 The power flow card shows exactly that, power. Thus uses a power entity.
The main functionality of the energy dashboard is energy and thus uses energy entitites. This used to be the only it used. But, it can now also show you power. But for that you will need to add power entities.
So every entry in the energy dashboard now has the option for two entities. One energy entity and one power entity.

haha thanks, it actually is really confusing for me but the hint with the 2 entities per entry actually helped me to make the graph show "something". It seems I have to figure out what entities I have to choose, there are so many for that SMA system.

Confusing energy and power is like confusing speed and distance 🙂 But yeah, SMA exposes quite a few entities 🙂 But really like the update rate of them 😄
