#Conditional card visibility in Home Dashboard

Love the new Home Dashboard in 2026.2 — it’s a massive step forward and I’ve been really impressed with how much it covers out of the box.
The one thing I’m missing from my custom dashboards is the ability to show cards conditionally based on entity state. The conditional card in custom dashboards is something I use regularly to surface information only when it’s actually relevant.
A concrete example: I live near a river and monitor the water level via an Environment Agency sensor. I only want to see this card when the level exceeds a certain threshold — meaning the river path is impassable. The rest of the time, it’s just noise.
This pattern applies broadly — showing a card only when a door is unlocked, when a device is unavailable, when energy export drops below a threshold, etc. The value is in surfacing the exception rather than displaying everything all the time.
Would love to see conditional visibility as a feature for the Home Dashboard. Is this something that’s been discussed or is on the roadmap?

A potential solution is the ability to make the entity visibility a template rather than Boolean?
