I would like to get rid of my Ring Security system and integrate with HA. I have several of these new MYGGBETT Door and Window Sensors I purchased to test. I was wondering if there is a way to integrate it into a security system. I have tried the Aqara path but it does not work well with their new matter Door Contact sensors. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
#MYGGBETT Door/window sensor for security systems

Well I guess I will respond to my own post. Figured it out. Next question: What is the best siren integration for the HA Alarm systems?
Does Home Assistant Voice have the capability to play back a siren for an alarm state?
i haven't tried this but I'm certain you could download an audio clip of a siren, store it in your HA media folder, then create an automation to play the audio clip when your alarm conditions are met.
Here's how I would approach your security system project: (at a high level: design system first, then get all the individual parts working, then connect them together in HA) - Install all your door and window switches and get them paired with HA. Do the same with whatever media player device you are going to use to play the alarm. Determine what notification system you are going to use and get that working in HA (I use Pushover). Sketch out what your modes will be (day, night, away, etc.), and conditions and/or devices (push buttons) triggers will arm and disarm the system. If you're using hardware buttons then get them working in HA. Once all the individual parts are working start piecing them together with HA automations, testing as you go.
Thanks. That is what I have started doing. I have noticed some door/window contact sensors do not work well. Currently testing the new IKEA sensors. I managed to get a siren to work through my Ring Base station (this is the system I want to stop paying for and remove.). I will check the 'Pushover" app to test. Pushing notification to older SONOS Play 3 units is not working. I was hoping for a simple siren to add on each floor. I will continue my research. The good news is ALARMO seems to be working very well and easy to setup.
Something to note is that the ring sensors should be Zwave. Meaning you can just grab a Zwave stick and use them natively in Home Assistant
even the keypads work
Interesting, so basically disconnect them from the Ring system and add it to a Zwave stick connected to HA.
