@winter horizon

congrats on the core integration of the Bosch Alarm Panel, appears to be working great.
i do have a question and was unsure where to ask it, do not think it is an issue, so decided not to create one in the github. Happy to do that if you think it is OK.
In a previous iteration of the integration, there was a connection status, that does not appear to be there any more, I think it was also gone in at least one version before the core merging so not part of that process.

is there an equivalent sensor? I could not see one.

just a basic one.. have you already performed a full reboot of home assistant?

#

unique id's could have changed, a reboot should fix this

Many times. I do not believe it is an issue more a design decision. The integration is working fine, I just had an automation that notified me when the alarm disconnected, so I could take action, and now it shows up as a repair as the entity no longer exists. I was just looking for a replacement if it existed, if not then I will try creating a template, looking for the entity going unavailable instead.

would update that first 😉

#

a lot of things changed, just to exclude other issues..

#

make backup first

Will wait for 2026.2.1 before i do that, as it is not an issue that is hurting me. I prefer to leave .0 versions alone.

ah ok, fair enough 😉 it seems to be that there where indeed some changes at bosch. Dont own one, so can not reference here. Please hold on until someone picks this up or you can check gemini or gpt what the changes are.
