Hello again.
I just migrated my home assistant setup off of a containerized raspberry pi to a more powerful pc. (Mostly to run a few more intensive things like whisper and frigate on it as well.)
The transfer was mostly painless. With only a few exceptions everything I had configured came back just fine. The one big problem I’ve been having though is with my Thread Router via the ZBT-2. I have the containers for Matter Server and OBTR up and running just fine. And i was able to add matter devices that use WiFi without any problems. But for some reason, I can’t add anything to the thread router.
When I attempt to using my app, the app says it’s “connecting” briefly before switching to setting up. Even the devices show that the connection has been made (change in light pattern). But it stops there saying it’s setting up until it eventually fails with a message saying that it couldn’t add the device.
I’ve looked online for this and I’ve seen a lot of suggestions that it has something to do with IPv6, but as far as I can tell my host should be handling that fine. The network interface shows IPv6 and it responds to requests just fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I’ve even tried reflashing the ZBT-2 firmware and that still didn’t help.
