#Generic Hygrostat disabling itself

I have a smart plug powering a dumb humidifier, and a ZigBee temp/humidity sensor in the same room. To control the dehumidifier, I have a generic hygrostat entity which tells the smart plug when to turn on and off.

If the tank is full (which it is not, and was not when this last occured), the float switch inside the tank disabled the dehumidifier, and a light comes on. I have a separate automation which monitors the smart plug's power, and if it's still less than 1A 5 minutes after the plug turns on, it disabled the hygrostat and sends a notification to me but this automation has not triggered since October, and I have never been sent any notifications.

Any reason for the hygrostat to be turning itself off when it shouldn't?
