#How about ditching the changelog screen from the companion app?

Hey all, just feeling the community out here. My gripe is this: After every update, the changelog screen pops up on the compainon app. It interrupts my flow and doesn't actually give me any useful information, at least in 99% of cases. It's just another click I have to make to get to what I actually want.

How do you feel about it? Is it useful to you? Do you like it? Should it be removed in the current form?

If the conscensus it that it isn't useful, I'd volunteer to write a change request.

You can disable it if you want 🙂

Hm. Didn't know that. Maybe a "disable" button or "don't show again" checkbox on the change log screen would be helpful?

I am more in favor of an on-demand "What's new" screen, with relevant info, only when really needed and a nice design, but that needs more thought

Yes for now we are going to keep it like this until we have a better way of sharing news.

How about splitting the data up? You flag breaking changes as "important", and if any of those are found, the screen pops up even if it is disabled in the app?
