I have quite a beefy Proxmox server that runs HAOS. I am wanting to display a single dashboard on a RPi that is connected to a TV. I was wondering if there is a better solution than installing PiOS and displaying the dashboard via browser?

i'd say the best options are either a tablet, or a pi or any other sbc running in kiosk mode.
for a pi you can install the image that does not include the desktop environment and make it boot to a browser

you should stick to the official os tho and keep it updated as it's a device connected to your network
