Roborock is pretty great
Not a specific recommendation, but if you are keen on local, private control and a little into tinkering with hardware, taking a look at Valetudo might be a good idea. Haven't tried it myself yet but will do so once I get a vaccum for myself.

I have had a couple of Roborocks. They are nice and compatible with HA and is local local cotrol.
50 entities showing all sorts of things down to how many minutes the brushes and filters have left before replacement is recommended.
Also worth noting that 2 have broken in 3 years.
I also had a really old Electrolux Pure i9. Really dumb compared to the modern ones but it is still going strong after about 7 years. All you get to control is start/pause/dock and read what it is doing.
I have a Roborock QRevo S, still going strong after 2 years and too many entities to count. Works pretty damn well. You can even have a map in your HA, but its not very simple task. Some new models that have a camera that you can view live on your phone can be also integrated to have a camera stream in your HA
I can vouch for Roborock Qrevo Pro
I never was a fan of Vacuum having camera, so I went with one that doesn't have one. I had to configure it in Roborock app a bit, so it vacuums under my tables where chairs are, but still doesn't drive into wall and hit itself.
You can add it as card in HA Dashboard - I can set fan speed there, vacuum by rooms (With scripts) or just start/stop/dock my vacuum and all that without using Roborock app anymore. As mentioned above, you can even set map in HA card, so you know exactly at what point and where exactly your vacuum is
