Hi, I've recently upgraded my sonoff dongle-e to a new dongle plus MG24 in ZHA. My plan is to use the old dongle-e as a router and the new MG24 as a coordinator in zha.
I've successfully migrated my network to use the dongle MG24 and it worked like a charm. I flashed the dongle-e with the sonoff web flasher tool to the latest router firmware and try to pair it to my network.
But here's are the problem:
Every time i try to pair the dongle-e it is recognized as dongle MG24 and the association never finish. I made some search and understood that can be a problem due to the IEEE address being the same in both dongle, which was the case. After a lot of search i ended up changing the IEEE address of the dongle-e using the universal-silabs-flasher.
I needed to flash it back to the coordinator firmware for this to work with the following command: universal-silabs-flasher --device /dev/ttyUSB0 write-ieee --ieee 08:b9:5f:ff:fe:d1:3f:2c then flash the router firmware again.
But the problem is still the same and i can't add it to ZHA. I've even flashed it again as a coordinator to see if the ieee address was correctly saved and it is the good one that it is set on the device.
Can someone please help me to use this dongle-e as a router with my migrated network ?
