I’ve been experimenting with HA, HK, Matter, & Thread for almost a year now with mixed results that don’t seem to be repeatable and are sporadically successful. I have exhausted forum research with no conclusive direction. Depending on the sequence of adding, resetting, pairing then removing, etc I get inconsistent outcomes that ultimately hinder my ability to get all/most devices in one system. HomeKit Devices will show sometimes on the HA green, others will show on the Turnkey 2. I originally began with HK but quickly found interest in HA as you would suspect due to device availability and customization. Ultimately, I’d like to primarily utilize HA but run HK alongside for most applicable devices due to the convenience of native functionality on the many apple devices I own. I’m sure I’ve redundantly invested in some equipment searching for what seems like a unicorn result while also hung on to some older devices that may be causing some of the issues. I’m willing to invest or liquidate in order to achieve.
I’m looking for guidance on what devices, sequence, integration type, etc and am willing to do a complete network and device factory reset. At this point, I’m willing to pay for a consultant to get rid of the headache.
