Hello, I am looking for an affordable camera that has night vision and also transmits sound to Home Assistant. In other words, I want video and sound in Home Assistant. Can anyone recommend one?

In general I recommend Reolink Cameras. I get that you have had a bad experience with one not working but they have a wide range of options and in the Reolink Integration Documentation there is a list of models that have beeen tested and known to be working.

Integration into HA works with the E1, but the live image is not transferred.

I have 2 cheap Tapo C210 cameras integrated into HA, but I use mainly the related Tapo app. Don't know if is that what you are looking for or something with total local control. I also have seen always the Reolink ones recommended
