I have a few dozen ESPHome (2026.1.x) devices that are working perfectly and are perfectly updatable within ESPHome Builder. But, when a new ESPHome version gets released, I only get update notifications for a subset of them in HA. For those I can use the "Update" button within HA and they will get updated in the background, but a few (3 or so) don't show up there. It is puzzling, that 2 of those are very similar devices, from which only one each produces an update notification. Like 2 HA Voice PEs (home-assistant-voice-.yaml), or 2 ESP8266 devices for controlling lab power supplies (
riden-labornetzteil-.yaml), which sketches are very similar. But I took care to give each unique names and such.

I don't really know where to start digging to debug this.
