zigbee switch manually triggered changes not reflected in HA

I have several enbrighten dimmers and switches.
I have used these dimmers and switches under OpenHAB and they were paired with a Nortek HUSB-ZB1.
With Home Assistant, I have paired them to a Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus.
In OpenHAB, all the switches and dimmers would notify the hub of any changes.
Now, in Home Assistant, for one particularly important switch with an attached automation, not all notifications are happening. Is there a setting somewhere for that?
