Hi everyone,
I’m running into a strange issue with my Voice Assistant setup and I’m wondering if this is a bug or if I’ve missed a configuration detail.
My Setup:
Hardware: Home Assistant Voice Preview Edition (S3 Box).
Integration: OpenAI (ChatGPT) used for Assist Pipelines.
Analog Phone Integration: I have an analog phone set up for my child using a dedicated Assist Pipeline.
System Info: * Home Assistant Core: 2026.1.2
Home Assistant OS / Supervisor: Latest version
The Problem:
I have created two distinct Assist Pipelines:
"Bello" (Dog Pipeline): This is for the analog phone. The ChatGPT prompt explicitly tells the assistant to act like a dog (barking, saying "Wau/Woof", playing games).
"Standard" (Default Pipeline): This is for my Voice Preview Edition. The prompt is standard/empty; it should behave like a normal assistant.
The Issue:
Even though the Voice Preview Edition is set to use the Standard pipeline, it has started behaving like the dog. It greets me with "Wau", barks, and uses parts of the prompt intended for the other pipeline.
