I'm looking for a tablet or wall display for HA. What can you recommend?

I in my kitchen have an old ipad i had laying around. i wall mounted this to the wall.
In my bathroom ill have the shelly x2i.
if you have an ipad or tablet laying around id recommend using that

you can buy new android tabs from lenovo (~10") for about <150$

unfortunately they dont seem to make those without batteries anymore but they come with very configurable charge protection these days

generally the experience of tablets isnt "that great" if you compare it to like the echo devices with a screen, but its as good as it gets atm

The older crestron tablets can be used with home assistant

Esp32 s3 display from AliExpress. A bit of playing around with configuring and design, but all is yaml so not that hard. Using lvgl.

Those will make absolutely terrible dashboards

Not just because they are small but because they cannot simply show a webbrowser

It does not show a web browser. You can map actions. You write your own UI
