Trying to figure out how I could automate turning my heating on, unfortunately any kind of hardware option requires a Gas Safe engineer in the UK, so I’m stuck trying to figure out how to rock this switch back and forth with external hardware. Any ideas?

my first thought was making (3d printing?) some kind of mechanism that sits on top of it and adapts it to a more "normal" and interactable switch that you could use various options on.
perhaps trying to tie a couple of pieces of fishing wire or something to it then around something to keep it in place but would give you 2 wires you could pull to go back and forth then put then on a servo of sorts.

rented sadly, if i owned i think id just give up and buy the thermostat module but not for that price when i could be out of here in april lol

Its about the top switch right? On/timer/off?
Id just put a servo on the top, connect it with a slotted piece of plastic and have the servo push/pull the switch?
