Hello.

Im using the guide and scripts to install proxmox and home assistant OS.

After installing proxmox, i used the post install. It failed and stalled after the step apt update failed.

I figured it might have been because i was running the latest version.

Then i launched a new window to try to see if the post install would do the update, and i clicked all the way through, still selecting no to enable high availability, and it said:
apt update failed
Updated Proxmox VE
Completed Post Install Routine

Then i used the script for installing Home Assistant OS, and it failed with: Failed to install pv automatically. And it rebooted as advertised.

But then the PC started beeping like in this video:

(Not) Running on a Lenovo ThinkCentre M700 Tiny - 128GB SSD - i3-6100T 8GB RAM - LAN/WiFi/BT

# frozen ice Thanks Michael. Just tried it, but same problem

could try cleaning the contacts of the ram with isopropyl
check the ram socket for bent pins

could try a bios reset
maybe a bios battery replacement
is the cpu socketed? if so then reseat that to see if its a memory pin on the cpu not seated correctly.

do you have any other compatible ram sticks you could try in it?

might just be hardware failure.

I get why these would be the normal steps regarding if the hardware is seated properly. But it literally happened the same second after the reboot, so doesn't really make sense that it would be a seating issue?

I agree with Michael Seems like RAM issue pr hardware issue.
You can check manufacturer’s manual for your model to decode the music! 😉
