I just bought the Ikea Bilresa and added it to HA via the ZBT-2.
I was disappointed to find that the scroll wheel reacted very slowly to dimming my ikea lightbulbs, and I need to wait after each tick.
I read that there are "Zigbee bindings" to make a direct connection, but since this is on Matter I don't have the option to bind the Bilresa to a lamp.
I also read that the Bilresa has touchlink. Is there a way to make a direct binding?

The scroll wheel uses an ongoing event during usage. This kind of event is currently not supported in HAs matter implementation. See https://github.com/home-assistant/core/pull/159045
Whoops. sorry, just saw that you're using it with Zigbee, didn't even realize that that's supported

Sadly a lot of people already blame Ikea for the scroll wheel not working in HA (just read the negative reviews).

Yes it's cheap and I had hoped that i could use it to dim lights and control the volume of the soundbar. for now I will just wait until there is a better option

I have read that the matter server in HA does not work well with battery powered devices (like Bilresa from Ikea). Is this a known bug?
