No problem with direct access on public IP

to be clear: There is no official statement currently and I also do not officially speak for NC...

that said... It does seem like the issues are effecting people at random. there is definitely a bunch of people having issues but also things to seem to be working for the majority of people.
as mentioned above, If I had to guess it seems to be some kind of issue with cloud providers and maybe their routing configurations.

I am sure there are people are working on the issue but the support team may not have up to date information.

@idle panther it wasn't a joke. If I used your URL and your Home Assistant server responded at the time then it was a legitimate question. If you were still having an issue then you would respond and we can proceed from there.

That said, there is an issue with an EU node that is being looked into
