wow the reliability of setting the ecobee climate modes alongside temperature sets seems horrible?it doesn't seem to want to unset holds and when you do it seems to have a race condition with changing the climate mode afterward? if that even worksj, which it seems like it doesn't sometimes? is this just buggy firmware

what do people even do, just avoid the climate modes entirely and stick to manually set min/max temperatures?
it seems I just can't get it to reliably accept the change of the climate mode by setting the homekit-joined ecobee list select (latest/smart thermostat premium I think is the model name)
even clearing the hold first doesn't work, but weirdly it sometimes does accept it so I have no idea what's happening
