After ha update to 2026.1.0 the data on the energy dashboard shows somehow absolute values - not cumulated

#

a 'correct' day (eg yesterday) looks like :

#

i have some 'missing' data in the stats, but value is always rising - so should be ok

a could be a long-term statistic <-> history issue...as i purged the history before the update - so the energy history of the current day is gone (I thought energy was handled differently / different db)

#

so maybe tomorrow it should show correct values for today ? as all is stored in long-term ?

Energy uses the regular statistics. Weird that it shows negative values

for current day i think it shows history - but older days long-term ...

#

I hope it will be okay again tomorrow for today, otherwise I won't be able to do any proper evaluations. 🙂

If it's a consistent issue open a core bug for the integration that provides that sensor.

it was only once after the update to 2026.1.0 - the last 3 years it shows correct values

#

and i purged history before ....

purge in theory shouldn't affect energy/lts

#

only I guess if a bug somehow makes the statistics engine break when it does it's hourly collection

so for now i adjusted the outliers in the relevant statistics with 'valid' values - not it seems somehow correct 😉

statistical data showed large negative values.
