As the title says, I am trying to connect my Alexa HA skill with my Nabu Casa account. (I am currently on the free trial... I don't know if that should be a problem but letting you know just in case!) Here are the steps I've completed:
- Signed up for Nabu Casa
- Connected Nabu Casa to my HA account
- Enabled remote access as well as allow external activation of remote access
- Enable Alexa in the voice assistant options
- Gone to the Alexa skills on my phone, and attempted to add HA
- When I log in (using a password manager so I know my credentials are correct and consistent) It tells me the user does not exist.
6a. I saw it is sometimes a browser issue so I have tried Default Samsung browser, Vivaldi, Chome, and edge. All with the same issue.
6b. When I go to sign up it tells me the email address is already a user.
6c. I have logged into a separate tab on the same browser with the same credentials and I can log into Naba Casa just fine.
I don't know what more I can do! Not being able to link with Alexa is really going to make it hard for me to include HA in my place with other less tech savvy roommates who just want to use voice (and don't want to buy all new devices yet). Thank you in advance for the help!
