Spending too much time going around in circles because I just can’t seem to get AL to reassert automatic control after I manually change a light from the HA dashboard.
I’ve done all the obvious stuff. My automations are running and completing.
Example today. Lights in my hall being adapted correctly. Changed the lights to 100%@6000K using the group light control. Attributes correctly showed manual control asserted on all 6 lights. My automation to restore AL waits for all the lights to confirm they’re on… then waits an extra 2 secs… then asserts manual control = false… then asserts AL explicitly. But no matter how I try the lights stay steadfastly on 100@6K and manual control.
I can provide a lot more diagnostic info if anyone can help but it’s maddening — am spending hours on something that should just work.
