Is there a simple way to just stop my iPad from updating my home location but not my iPhone?

Looks like there isn’t really a simple solution that still allows tracking of the iPad location; it’s either just don’t use iPad with home assistant app or disable location tracking of the iPad on it plus some kind of hacky solutions

You can just open companion app settings > your server name > sensor > location sent
Or if what you mean is remove the link before your user location and iPad, go to home assistant settings > people > choose the user and remote the iPad from the tracked devices
