the encryption key is available in the backup settings and is in the "emergency kit" you should have stored somewhere safe.

i have an energency kit downloaded its old tho. dec 2025 and didnt imake any new backups. only a manual today

the key is for the system and doesn't change unless you specifically do it.

so if the file was created on the same system you have the emergency kit for then the key should work.

i found an encryption key in a random folder on my pc. its restoring now!
