Which Satellit for Voice Control?

Its quite overwhelming to choose which satellite to get for VC.

1. In Germany, many esp32 s3 boxes are sold on amazon by waveshare, which offer a all in one solution.

2. I have also found the satellite1, where I get confused on which Audio speaker I would need.

3. HA VPE obviously

4. Any other esp32 s3 box

Please explain what works best for you and what you would recommend. The VC is supposed to sit in the middle of my 35m^2 one bedroom appartment.

I tend to lean toward the voice-pe
the satellite1 or respeaker boards are nice if you want more custom though

for better reliablility you really want something that has the XMOS audio processing chip in it. the s3-box does not have this.

I recommend the VPE. you can add an external speaker with 3.5mm jack later if you need it.
