So I am wondering if anybody is working on real AI chat implemented thru a Home Assistant voice assistant. That is conversation that is implemented through the wakeword that either ends through a specified input timeout, or alternatively, by something as simple as saying 'end conversation' or '<wakeword> stop'.

I cant be the only person that would use that. C'mon man, Iron Man the movie is 18 years old.

I have started playing with https://github.com/mitrokun/esp32s3-voice_assistant/tree/main on some of my earlier devices I built myself that include a ESP32-S3 module, INMP441 and a MAX98357A on a circular board with a string of WS2812B LEDS around the top id of the enclosure. It seems to work well in a quiet environment. Of course there is not XMOS chip for audio processing.
